Polices:
Situations happen, but as a small Inn, cancellations affect us. Before making a reservation, guests should fully understand our cancellation policy as we are required to enforce them. We occasionally experience outages that are beyond our control. We report them as they occur. No refunds or compensation will be given for outages.
There are no REFUNDS or CREDITS for early check outs.
Cancellation Policy:
If you need to cancel your reservation, you must do so prior to 21 days of the date of your reservations or 60 days for multi room reservations. You must speak with the Innkeeper and send in writing to cancel your reservation so there is a paper trail for both parties. Your deposit will be refunded less a $50.00 administrative fee per room.
If you need to cancel less than 21 days prior to your reservations or 60 days for multi-Rooms, we will try to resell the room(s) if at all possible. If the room(s) is/are resold for the entire period of the original reservation, your deposit will be refunded less a $50.00 administrative fee per room. If the room(s) cannot be resold for the entire period of the original reservation, guests will be charged for the entire original reservation.
Rates:
*Rooms rates are for 4 occupancy only, regardless of age. There will be a $20.00 charge for each extra person per night.
* There is a 2 nights minimum stay on week-ends during peak season.
* We do not have roll away beds or allow blow up mattresses.
*Rates do not include applicable taxes and lodging fees.
*Rates are subject to change and vary depending on the time of year, special packages, and promotions. Rates quoted and booked at time of reservation are guaranteed at time of check in.
Correct number of guests policy:
Due to rules regarding maximum capacity in our rooms, your guest count will be confirmed upon arrival. If the number of guests needs to be corrected, additional charges will be applied. Room limits are clearly stated during the booking process and will be followed.
Check In: Is between is from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Check Out is 10 a.m. If you want an early check in or late check-out you need to contact the office to make special arrangements., the cost is $20.00 per hour.
EMERGENCY: The Emerald Island Inn suggest you purchase Travel Insurance to cover any unexpected emergency for cancellation cost.
PET:
Pets are not allowed on Inn grounds. The ADA’s revised regulations state the definition of a “Service Animal” is limited to a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform a specific task for a person with disability. The task performed by the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability. There must be a ADA card shown when checking in explaining the task the dog carries out for guest. Comfort therapy and emotional Support Animals do not meet the definitions of a Service Animal.
*SMOKING/FIRE
The Emerald Island Inn is a smoke & vape free environment indoors and on the porches. Smoking & Vaping is permitted away from the hotel and porches, guests may smoke in the yard where there will be a place to dispose of your cigarettes in the a ashtray provided. A $500.00 per day fee will be charged to the Credit Card on hold if smoking is found by a guest in the Inn.
No candles or open flames are allowed except by the the firepit.
*Access to the Inn guest rooms, common areas and property are reserved for registered guests only.
*For the consideration of others, quiet time begins at 10:00 p.m.
*We try to maintain a quite atmosphere at the Inn after 10:00 p.m., if you have children, please respect this and the privacy of all guests.
DAMAGES/DRUGS:
Guest damages to the Emerald Island Inn or property, including pilferage, theft or damages will be billed to the credit card on record for the room reservation.
We do not allow unlawful controlled substance deemed by Federal Law to be on Emerald Island Inn property. Guest(s) will be removed immediately.
TRANSPORTATION:
We provide courtesy transportation from the ferry dock and Welke Airport to the Emerald Island Inn. Arrangements need to be made at the time of the reservation. We do not pick-up bikes.
CREDIT CARDS:
All major Credit Cards are accepted. Due to security reasons and possible damages, we do require a credit card number to secure a reservation. Credit Card payment for a multi room reservation are due 60 days before arrival and is non-refundable.
Gift Certificates:
Emerald Island Inn gift certificate are the perfect choice for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, a special thank you and corporate or holiday gift giving. Gift certificates are available in any denomination. You may order your gift certificate over the phone; simply call Anna or Vic at (616) 748-1953.
